چکیده

This paper presents an experimental study of addition cellulose nanofibers (CNF) extracted by the chemical-ultrasonication process from agave cantala leaf plants in matrix polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). Combining these materials produce nanocomposite film with a thickness 30 μm. The characteristic was investigated CNF (0, 2, 5, 8, and 10 wt%) PVA suspension (3 wt.%). PVA/CNF films were prepared casting solution method. fibrillation fibers to analyzed using Scanning Electron Microscopy Transmission Microscopy. functional group's molecular chemical bond structural analysis tested Fourier Transform Infrared X-ray diffraction. has significant advantages on ultraviolet barrier, thermal stability Differential Calorimetry Thermogravimetric Analyzer, tensile strength. Overall, optimal is 8 wt.% matrix, resulting highest crystallinity index (37.5%), strength elongation at break increase 79% 138%, respectively. It good absorbing rays (82.4%) high (365oC).

Short Cellulose Nanofibril/polyvinyl Alcohol Nanocomposite Fibers

Short cellulose nanofibrils (SCNF) were investigated as a reinforcement for polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers. SCNF fibers were mechanically isolated from hard wood pulp after enzymatic pretreatment. Various levels of SCNF were added to PVA and gel-spun into continuous fibers. The molecular orientation of PVA was affected by a combination of wet drawing during gel spinning and post-hot-drawing at ...

Nanocomposite edible films from mango puree reinforced with cellulose nanofibers.

Cellulose nanoreinforcements have been used to improve mechanical and barrier properties of biopolymers, whose performance is usually poor when compared to those of synthetic polymers. Nanocomposite edible films have been developed by adding cellulose nanofibers (CNF) in different concentrations (up to 36 g/100 g) as nanoreinforcement to mango puree based edible films. The effect of CNF was stu...

Compression properties of polyvinyl alcohol--bacterial cellulose nanocomposite.

Despite the established use of total joint replacement for the treatment of advanced degeneration of articular cartilage, component loosening due to wear and osteolysis limits the lifespan of these joint prostheses. In the present study, nanocomposites consisting of poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and bacterial cellulose (BC) nanofibers were investigated as possible improved cartilage replacement mat...

Fabrication of Polyvinyl Alcohol/Kefiran Nanofibers Membrane Using Electrospinning

The Poly (vinyl alcohol)/Kefirane nanofiber membrane was successfully fabricated for the firsttime using electrospinning of the polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and Kefirane blend solution. Scanningelectron microscope (SEM), attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared (ATRFT-IR), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) were used to characterize the electrospunPoly (vinyl alcohol)/Kefiran...

2D Ti3C2Tx (MXene)-reinforced polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofibers with enhanced mechanical and electrical properties

Novel 2D Ti3C2Tx (MXene)-reinforced polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) nanofibers have been successfully fabricated by an electrospinning technique. The high aspect ratio, hydrophilic surfaces, and metallic conductivity of delaminated MXene nanosheet render it promising nanofiller for high performance nanocomposites. Cellulose nanocrystals (CNC) were used to improve the mechanical properties of the nanofi...
